Newest Nutrition Option at CrossFit Southie: Fuel for Fire!
We’re psyched to announce that we have just started carrying Fuel for Fire! Their product is called a “Fuel Pack,” which is real food (bananas, apples, and/or sweet potatoes) and 10 grams of whey protein in a squeezable pouch. It’s unsweetened, gluten-free, and contains nothing artificial. Fuel Packs are great for pre or post-workout, a protein-rich snack, or on competition days between events. No refrigeration required, so you can just throw one in your bag for whenever you may need it! These will be available at the front desk (refrigerated if you’d like) for $3.50 a pack. CrossFit Southie Apparel Update
Spring is on the rise and we’ve restocked our apparel inventory with plenty of tank tops and shirts in all the sizes. Now is your opportunity to pick up some fresh new swag to show off those crossfit bods. Don’t be surprised if the authorities ask if you have a license for those guns! We are also creating sweet new t-shirts for Regionals this year and we’re asking for your creative slogans to be placed on the back.     10:27RX. I was 10:55 last time. 10:44 is my best ever, so I’m happy with this morning. I’m 10# heavier than my previous best – and I’m just going to go ahead and assume all 10 of those pounds are muscle. The DL get heavy at the end.

    Definitely could’ve pushed harder tonight, but my goal was sub 14 and I got there. Had to use 5 lbs more tonight than my previous two times but my deadlifts were by far the strongest part of this workout. They felt pretty phenomenal. I can definitely go faster on the box jumps so I’m looking forward to retesting this! Hoping for sub 13
